Just caught this track from fellow NY based DJ/producer Jesse Langer (Langer Products). Really chill sample chop and instrumentation on this one. Could definitely see some people getting down to this in a mix.
quiet hour playlist
last two songs were “wait and see” by holy ghost and “square one vip” by mosca. now we got “rococo chanel” by chilly gonzales and a slight throwback “babylon” by congorock

Cookin’ w/ Cerebral Vortex & The Hood Chef (original) by COBRAKRAMES
TQH [HOMETOWN HOMECOMING] BANGER: COBRAKRAMES FEAT. CEREBRAL VORTEX & THE HOOD CHEF - COOKIN’ (ORIGINAL MIX)
Cobrakrames has got to be a NYC legend by now. I first heard of the dude when I was just a lowly intern at a local magazine. My boss at the time, DJ Synapse, put me on to a Krames mix and I was a fan from the jump. Now i’m a fan of a lot of people from the jump because I’m such an optimistic and friendly guy so my fandom doesn’t always lead to repeat listening right away. That all changed in the case of Cobrakrames after I heard one of his NOLA-bouncingly-live sets last summer at the DEADSTUY zombie beach party in BK. The Krames production style is totally on point and caters to a variety of sounds. Simply put: when krames makes beats, you can spin them at pretentious hipster joints to melt icy souls and get even the stiffest people to dance OR you can throw them down at hood joints and watch all the doughboys go craaaaazay.
Dude. HOODCHEF IS A MOTHERFUCKING BEAST. This Loko hails from BK as well and has been cheffing up a culinary storm on the interwebs with his quick wit and dope skills around all areas of the NY foodie world. Homie’s been adding videos to his “Hood Chef” youtube cooking series for a while now (LOOK THEM VIDEOS UP) and I met the dude at the FrankRadio CMJ showcase in Brooklyn’s Southpaw about two CMJ’s ago. Been following the cooking since but when I found out homie was into making tracks I had no choice but support that LokoLife also.
But yo! Back to the banger at hand, Krames and Hoodchef just made a track with Cerebral vortex (Who is super dope as well) AND IT GOES HARD. LISTEN TO THE SHIT.

TQH [MAD FUCKING DAILY] BANGER: PICTUREPLANE - BREATH WORK
Pictureplane is the motherfucking tits. This dude from denver totally has the aesthetics that appeal to the art house/witch house spectrum of new-new-new-new-new-new-new-wave-club-electro-whateverthefuck but YOU CANT ARGUE WITh BANGIN BEATS AND CHILL MELODIES! Like at all!
I didn’t know what to expect from last nights pictureplane performance but it blew me away and totally wet set the mood for all of the hipster bitties in attendance. Mackage ensued. Thanks Pictureplane! Hahahaha now I know what to play on campus when its time to get on the rowdy plane. That that Pictureplane yo.
